Bad Habit was created by combining five of the Tri-states most talented musicians with a list of songs that you rarely hear played live by a local band.

Each member of Bad Habit is an extraordinary musician with an extensive performance history and a penchant for attention to detail in their individual performances. The combination of two exceptional guitarists, a keyboardist with advanced technology, solid bass and drums and four solo vocalists give Bad Habit a potent arsenal of tools to craft and recreate songs very close to the original artist. This allows the group to perform musical selections that you love to hear, but are rarely performed in a local performance setting.

The songs Bad habit selects to play - in most cases - conform to the following formula:

  • From a popular band touring from the 70’s to present day, or
  • A one hit wonder from the 70’s to present day
  • Includes guitar and keyboards
  • Vocally challenging
  • Not normally played by a majority of other bands

There are always exceptions to the formula of course, as there are “standards” that every bar band plays. However, the vast majority of material we choose to play will conform to most of those standards.

70’s to present day rock .

In 1998 Sean McGary and Jimmy King formed “Marsha Brady”. Quickly becoming one of Cincinnati’s top cover band’s, they immediately packed local clubs and before long took their energetic live show on the road playing to packed clubs all across the country. After winning a cammy award in CIncinnati, the band took a break in 2000. Sean joined local funk legend and Gemini recording artist “Freekbass”. Sean toured the country and recorded 2 CD’s with “Freekbass”. Jimmy recorded a CD with “Zero One Zero” and also toured with “Forehead”. In 2005, using their already established and instantly recognizable name, Marsha Brady reformed, recruiting ‘Funkytown” drummer Derek Alldred.

Marsha Brady is back packing local clubs and is taking their show back out on the road. While Marsha Brady is a cover band, all the members are involved in various original projects. Marsha Brady plays fun, upbeat, dance rock music. They cover songs by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, Weezer, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Guns & Roses, Buck Cherry, Lit and a lot of other classic party songs. The band has fun playing these tunes and it comes across in their live show. Be sure and check out Marsha Brady at a club near you.
